Every occasion calls for a little preparation. There are so many ways you can prepare for a big event like making sure you have enough food, coordinating all of the decorations, and working out plans with the venue but the most important is to prepare yourself. Relaxation is key to make sure everything runs smoothly. If you are not prepared mentally for an event of importance, stress will interfere with your ability to enjoy the day. Here are a few tips on how to prepare yourself before your next wedding, retirement party, or any other affair!
-Meditate...as often as you feel (essential oils help with this)
-Have a spa day... take a hot bath, get a massage, manicure/pedicure, facial, or whatever you need to do to make yourself feel at ease
-Write a list of the things to do so you can get them off your mind and onto paper
-It doesn't hurt to ask other people for help, don't overwhelm yourself with everything that needs to be done
-Eat a healthy protein-filled breakfast the day of the event to feel energized
